Care Kits for First Responders

As part of a grant awarded by 9/11 Day in partnership with AmeriCorps, Tuesday’s Promise is bringing our community together through a day of service to support 9/11 first responders and their families who continue to navigate the lasting impacts of 9/11.

Volunteers will help assemble care kits and contribute to an initiative that provides comfort, gratitude, and support to those individuals.

Tuesday’s Promise families are invited to join us for “Blue at the Zoo”, a memorable day at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The day includes exploring the zoo, gathering together for a group lunch, and a special up-close animal encounter. We’ve handled all the planning – simply show up and join us for a morning of fun!

This event is made possible by the generosity of our friends at Teledyne FLIR (who will be onsite as volunteers to make the morning even more special).
