As I reflect on this past month, I am filled with gratitude for the community that makes Tuesday’s Promise so special. Our 2026 Gala: A Promising Evening was a tremendous success, and I want to thank everyone who helped make the evening possible. We could not host these events without our co-chairs Erica Barrett, Bridget Gormley, and Fred Strobel, generous sponsors, supporters, Board members, staff, and volunteers.

As I reflect on the past few weeks at Tuesday’s Promise, I am filled with gratitude. Our sponsors, partners, and volunteers make it possible for us to do more than provide services. They help us create moments for families to come together, make memories, laugh, reconnect, and simply enjoy being with one another. Those moments matter.

There is something powerful about knowing that when a family reaches out for help, they are not reaching out alone. When you are experiencing grief or trauma, finding the right resources can be overwhelming.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11th, I have been reflecting on the many conversations our team has had with members of our community over the past year. One thing has become abundantly clear: there is no single way to grieve.
